SAMUEL HE
|PHOTOJOURNALIST|
Samuel He's photography was very inspiring and expressive. I thought they brought across the narrative he wanted to tell the viewers in an engaging way. The angles, lighting and colour he chose blended well together.
I liked the series of photographs he took during his stint at the foreign workers dormitory. They have provided different perspectives on the lives of the foreign workers in Singapore. The pictures of the workers' personal touches on the walls and furniture illustrated their personality and background. I thought that he understood his subjects and photographed them in a very natural way.
